Data protection policy

Scope of Application- This confidentiality policy is applicable to all data of a personal nature, as defined by current legislation in force, contained in the web page www.santaibiza.com. In any event, this confidentiality policy refers to the data belonging to the ‘Users’ held in a file for which Santa Ibiza., hereinafter the “Service Provider”, shall be held liable.
Information to the User as to the existence of files and requests for consent for automated handling of data: With regard to data of a personal nature
provided by the User in forms or contact means via the web page, the Service Provider shall strictly comply with current regulations set forth in Public General Act 15/1999 of the 13th of December on Protection of Data of a Personal Nature and other associated legislation and hereby informs the User that the aforementioned data shall be included in a file under its ownership, for subsequent automated handling, consent by the User having been understood upon the act of providing said data.

The objective of data handling: Personal data provided by the User shall be handled by the Service Provider in order to fulfill the request for information by the User or, if applicable, to manage the participation of such data owners in the casting events organized by the Service Provider. In any event, any data compiled and handled by the Service Provider shall be those that are basic and essential for the fulfillment of the abovementioned objectives.
Obligatory nature of data input: the fields marked with an asterisk* in available forms are those for which obligatory answers are required; failure to provide an answer shall prevent the provision of the specific service.

Right of access, rectification, cancellation and objection: Users who provide personal data to the Service Provider via the current web page shall be able at any time to exercise their right of access, rectification, cancellation and objection by request sent by post to Santa Ibiza, with address at PO Box 94, 07871, Formentera, Islas Baleares, España, including a copy of the DNI or NIF of the data holder. The Service Provider hereby reiterates its commitment to respect and safeguard the confidentiality of all User personal data gathered and handled, likewise declaring its commitment to the non-assignment thereof to third parties without prior consent to do so from the data holder, except in the event of the incidents expressed below in his Data Protection Policy and all exceptions set forth in the applicable legislation.

Confidentiality- The Service Provider hereby ensures the full confidentiality and privacy of the personal data gathered, having taken technical and operational safety measures to prevent any unauthorized alteration, loss, handling or access thereto, thus guaranteeing its integrity and confidentiality, with special consideration given to the provisions in this regard set forth in Royal Decree 994/1999 of the 11th of June, granting approval of the Regulations on Safety Measures for automated files containing personal data. The Service Provider shall not be held liable under any circumstance for any incident which might arise regarding personal data derived either from an attack or unauthorized access to the system in such a way as to render it undetectable by the security systems in place or else when due to a lack of diligence on the part of the User regarding the care and safeguard of User passwords or even the actual personal data.

Veracity of data- The User shall be responsible for the reliability of the data, undertaking to not enter false data and to modify data if necessary.
